    • Carson Palmer QB - ARZ Palmer was dreadful in Sunday's 33-18 lo... 5:11 pm   9/25/16

Palmer was dreadful in Sunday's 33-18 loss at Buffalo, completing 26 of 50 passes for 261 yards and four interceptions.

Impacts: The Cardinals went three-and-out on each of their first five possessions, a span in which Palmer went two of 10 for eight yards and suffered the first of five sacks. By the time he engineered the team's initial first down, the deficit had grown to 17-0, but a David Johnson touchdown run with 1:05 remaining before halftime put the visitors in position for a comeback. Arizona was unable to parlay the second-half kickoff into more than another punt, though, and Tyrod Taylor soon culminated the Bills' ensuing drive with a 20-yard touchdown. Palmer again drove the Cards into field-goal range, only to stall out at Buffalo's 10-yard line, and a snap over the holder's head was hunted down by Aaron Williams, who scooped up the snafu and dashed 53 yards to the end zone to put a stranglehold on the contest. Although Palmer achieved a semblance of consistency with a touchdown and field goal on the next two possessions, he was clearly pressing the issue thereafter, ending the final four drives with interceptions (or his first turnovers of the season). He'll look to turn it around next Sunday against the Rams at University of Phoenix Stadium.
