Ray Rice's heroics lift Ravens past Chargers voted Week 12 GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week

Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice provided one of the signature plays of the season on fourth-and-29 to keep the Ravens' drive for a tying field goal alive. His effort earned them the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week for games played on November 22-26, the NFL announced today. The GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week is the best moment or play of the week that represents determination and perseverance.

Down by three, the Baltimore Ravens faced a fourth- and-29 from their own 37-yard line. Against all odds, RB Ray Rice provided one of the signature plays of the season to keep the Ravens' drive for a tying field goal alive. On the stunning play, Rice caught a short pass from QB JOE FLACCO and weaved through the San Diego Chargers' defense for the crucial first down. In overtime, the Ravens' rookie kicker Justin Tucker kicked the winning field goal to secure a 16-13 victory.

Rice's heroics lift Ravens past Chargers was selected from among three moments by voters on NFL.com/gmc. The other two moments were QB Robert Griffin III, Redskins battle back into playoff race and QB Ryan Tannehill sparks late Dolphins rally for win.

After the regular season, fans will have a chance to determine the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Year, from among the 17 weekly winners. Fans can vote for the winner and enter for a chance to win a trip to Super Bowl XLVII on NFL.com/gmc throughout the month of January.

Ryan Tannehill, who struggled during the Dolphins' recent slide, marched Miami 80 yards for the tying score. Tannehill drove the Dolphins 65 yards in the game's final minute and a half to set up Dan Carpenter's winning field goal as time expired in a 24-21 victory.
