Quick Take: Browns boot struggling Bills

It was over when ...
Rian Lindell's 47-yard field goal attempt sailed wide right with 43 seconds to go. The Bills had dominated on special teams until the final two minutes, when Phil Dawson kicked a 56-yarder to give Cleveland the lead and Lindell missed.

Game ball
Browns backup RB Jerome Harrison made the most of his limited chances, scoring on a 72-yard touchdown run and making a key 21-yard catch along the sideline that set up a Cleveland field goal.

Key stat
The Bills had four turnovers, and when they had chances to capitalize on Browns miscues and get a takeaway, they could not quite make the play. An apparent fourth-quarter interception by Ko Simpson was overturned after replays showed the ball hitting the ground, and Leodis McKelvin dropped an errant Brady Quinn pass on Cleveland's winning drive.

Noteworthy
McKelvin scored his first touchdown on a 98-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter. He led the way for a Buffalo team that racked up 280 total return yards. ... Marshawn Lynch had his first 100-yard game of the year and finished with 177 yards from scrimmage (119 rushing, 58 receiving) and a touchdown. ... Cleveland's Joshua Cribbs tallied his first career rushing TD from 2 yards out.
