  • DL Dalvin Tomlinson (knee soreness) will not be participating in Thursday's joint practice with the Broncos, head coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters.

SIGNINGS

  • CB C.J. Henderson is signing with Atlanta, pending his medical review, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source. The club has since announced the news. Henderson, a former top-10 pick of the Jaguars, spent the 2024 season with Pittsburgh but did not log a single snap. He last played for the Panthers in 2023, tallying 39 tackles and a sack in 12 games (seven starts).

  • Baltimore's scheduled joint practice with the Commanders for Aug. 21 has been cancelled due to logistical concerns. "Recognizing the logistical challenges -- with our teams' previous games scheduled on different days -- and the added strain on players heading into a short week, the Ravens and Commanders mutually agreed to no longer hold a joint practice next week," the Ravens said in a statement. "Instead, we will concentrate on preparing for our upcoming preseason matchup."

  • QB Kenny Pickett (hamstring) will remain limited in Thursday's practice, coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters. Pickett said Thursday that he feels like he's turning a corner with the injury.
  • QB Shedeur Sanders (oblique) is day to day, Stefanski reiterated. The rookie will be out of practice a few days and then be re-evaluated, Stefanski said.

  • Stefanski did not announce who will start at quarterback for Saturday's preseason game against Philadelphia. Joe Flacco will not play, Stefanski confirmed, but it's too early to tell if Dillon Gabriel, who's been held out at times in camp with a hamstring injury, will play vs. the Eagles. Tyler Huntley is the only other healthy QB available with Pickett and Sanders sidelined.

  • Head coach Brian Schottenheimer announced QB Joe Milton III will start in Saturday's preseason game versus the Ravens and rookie G Tyler Booker will make his preseason debut.

  • LT Garett Bolles exited Thursday's practice after experiencing breathing issues related to his asthma but is going to be fine, head coach Sean Payton told reporters. Bolles was treated by medics at an on-site ambulance but remained at the team facility.
  • LB Nik Bonitto had a bone spur removed from his foot and the hope is he returns to practice next week, per Payton.

  • TE Sam LaPorta won't practice on Thursday and is expected to miss some more time with an undisclosed injury, but head coach Dan Campbell isn't considering it major.

  • QB Jordan Love's thumb surgery went well and he is with the team in Indianapolis for the team's joint practice with the Colts, head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters.
  • WR Romeo Doubs is not practicing Thursday after sustaining a back injury during Tuesday's practice, per LaFleur. LaFleur added that he isn't concerned about the injury.
