Coverage of 2008 NFL Scouting Combine presented by Reebok

For college students chasing their NFL dreams, and scouts looking for the best of the best, the time is now. It’s time to compete, time to make a mark, time to believe. With extensive access to daily workouts, head coaches, front-office personnel and players, the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine on NFL Network and NFL.com Presented by Reebok will give fans an exclusive opportunity to see how teams are preparing for the upcoming April 26-27 NFL Draft and how college prospects vie to be chosen early.

Beginning Thursday, Feb. 21, fans will be given an all-access pass to more than 300 NFL hopefuls as they converge for the combine at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis for on-field drills, physical testing, exams and interviews with team personnel and the media.

From press conferences to weigh-ins, the 40-yard dash to the bench press, NFL Network goes live to follow the competition with high definition telecasts. Coverage will incorporate the use of a record 12 cameras, an on-screen graphics panel highlighting workout results, and interviews with participants following drills. In total, NFL Network will provide 26 hours of combine coverage.

Reebok, the official outfitter of the NFL is serving as the presenting sponsor of NFL Network and NFL.com combine coverage. All players will be outfitted in Reebok’s official NFL Equipment gear.

A breakdown of the NFL Network combine programming:

Live Workouts: Host Rich Eisen is joined by analysts Charles Davis, Mike Mayock and Rod Woodson for daily reports on the prospects participating. Additional expert commentary includes Jamie Dukes on the offensive linemen, Marshall Faulk and Steve Mariucci on the quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers, and Deion Sanders on defensive backs. Airs live Saturday, February 23 through Tuesday, Feb. 26 beginning at 11 a.m. ET each day.

NFL Total Access: NFL Total Access is on location from the Scouting Combine with news, analysis and interviews featuring host Fran Charles alongside analysts Steve Mariucci, Jamie Dukes and reporter Adam Schefter. Airs live Thursday, Feb. 21 through Monday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. ET.

Press Conferences: Player, coach and general manager press conferences from the combine anchored by Paul Burmeister and Adam Schefter. Airs live Thursday and Friday at 2:30 p.m. ET as well as Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.

On NFL.com fans will be able to follow the action with:

NFL.com LIVE: Fans can choose between five different video streams: NFL Network’s live progra.m.ming, two ground cameras covering the 40-yard dash and position drills, a “jump camera” covering the vertical and broad jumps and a “shuttle camera” covering the 20-yard shuttle, 60-yard shuttle and 3-cone drills.

Workout results: Top performers from each position posted to NFL.com throughout each day of workouts.

Exclusive Video Reports from On-Site Reporter, Scott Hanson: Includes post-workout interviews and analysis.
