With players chosen in the 2023 NFL Draft having finished their third regular season, it's decision time on fifth-year options for the class' first-rounders.
All drafted rookies are given four-year contracts to begin their careers -- and teams have the option to extend that pact for a fifth year with players selected in Round 1.
The fifth-year option window for the Class of 2023 opened Jan. 5, with the final deadline set for May 1.
NFL.com is tracking each team's decision leading up to the deadline.
Panthers GM Dan Morgan told reporters on Jan. 23 that the team would pick up Young's option.
The Seahawks exercised Witherspoon's fifth-year option on March 20, the team annnounced.
Jets GM Darren Mougey told reporters on March 30 that the team expects to pick up McDonald's fifth-year option.
EDITOR'S NOTE: The Commanders, who orginially drafted Forbes, waived him in Dec. 2024. The Rams subsequently claimed Forbes off waivers.
Smith-Njigba signed a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension on March 23, making him the top paid receiver in the NFL. The extension came three days after the Seahawks' picked up Smith-Njigba's fifth-year option.
The Vikings announced on March 30 they intend to excercise Addison's fifth-year option.
Bills GM Brandon Beane told reporters on March 30 that the team has exercised Kincaid's fifth-year option.

Jaguars GM James Gladstone told reporters on March 30 that the team will exercise Harrison's fifth-year option.
