GMC Never Say Never Moment: Mario Williams

The NFL announced Friday that the fans selected Buffalo Bills pass rusher Mario Williams for the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week.

Williams' forced fumble on a sack of quarterback Ryan Tannehill with fewer than three minutes remaining was the game-altering event that opened up the opportunity for former Dolphins kicker Dan Carpenter to deliver the decisive score for the Bills.

NEVER SAY NEVER MOMENT NOMINEES

Mario Williams, Buffalo Bills

Williams' sack, forced fumble set up Bills' win: After blowing a 14-point lead to the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills managed to rally to kick the game-winning field goal with 33 seconds remaining to prevail, 23-21. Bills defensive end Mario Williams' forced fumble on a sack of quarterback Ryan Tannehill with fewer than three minutes remaining was the game-altering event that opened up the opportunity for former Dolphins kicker Dan Carpenter to deliver the decisive score.

Roy Helu, Washington Redskins

Redskins complete comeback with Helu's third TD: Running back Roy Helu scored the winning touchdown with 45 seconds remaining to help the Washington Redskins survive a wild, back-and-forth thriller, ultimately prevailing 45-41 over the Chicago Bears. Helu's score -- his third of the game -- capped a 12-play, 80-yard drive orchestrated by quarterback Robert Griffin III, who completed five passes for 58 yards on the game-deciding drive.

Geno Smith, New York Jets

Smith rallies Jets for OT win against Patriots: With an assist from a newly instituted rule, the New York Jets collected a 30-27 overtime win over the New England Patriots when kicker Nick Folk got a second chance at the game-winning field goal.
