Raiders WR Schilens sidelined for seventh consecutive game

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Oakland Raiders wide receiver Chaz Schilens was inactive for Sunday's game against the New York Jets after he was supposed to return this week.

Schilens has been out all season with a foot injury. He didn't finish practice Friday because of soreness.

Also inactive for Oakland were offensive linemen Robert Gallery, Cornell Green and Langston Walker; running back Darren McFadden; wide receiver Nick Miller and linebacker Ricky Brown. Charlie Frye is the third quarterback.

Missing the game for the Jets were wide receivers Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) and Brad Smith (quadriceps) and cornerback Lito Sheppard (quadriceps). Safety James Ihedigbo and linebacker Marques Murrell were inactive as team punishment for throwing punches at Buffalo Bills tight end Derek Fine last week.

Quarterback Kevin O'Connell and offensive lineman Matt Slauson also were inactive for the Jets. Erik Ainge was the third quarterback.
