Pro day updates: Schools H-M

Hampton (March 13)

Fifteen NFL teams sent representatives and there were seven DL coaches in attendance to see eight Hampton players work out, along with six players from other area small schools. Prospects ran outdoors on grass on a pleasant, 50-degree day…

» DL Kendall Langford (6-5 5/8, 287): Had a 31-inch vertical jump, 9'5" long jump, ran position drills and kept all other numbers from the combine. Had private workout and meetings with the Lions, Rams, Jets, Dolphins and Falcons; will visit Minnesota.

» DL Marcus Dixon (6-4 ¼, 294): Ran the 40 in 5.19 and 5.14, had a 31 ½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 3-inch long jump, 4.56 short shuttle, 7.28 cone drill, 21 reps in the bench press, and ran position drills.

Hawaii (April 1)

Twenty-eight NFL teams were on hand to see 19 players work out at the Home Depot Center in southern California. Prospects worked out outdoors in Field Turf on a windy and cool day…

» QB Colt Brennan (6-2 ½, 218): Brennan injured his hip during a Senior Bowl practice, and it was recently announced that he would have labrum surgery on April 7. It will be about eight weeks before he can run and 12 weeks until he can work out. Still, he did throw 88 passes at this workout.

» WR Davone Bess (5-10 1/8, 189): Ran the 40 in 4.60, had a 32 ½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 7-inch long jump, 4.28 short shuttle, 7.15 cone drill, 17 reps in the bench press, ran position workout.

» WR Ryan Grice-Mullen (5-10 3/8, 189): Ran the 40 in 4.36, had a 31 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 2-inch long jump, ran position workout, kept everything else from the combine.

» WR Jason Rivers (6-1 ½, 204): Ran the 40 in 4.59, had a 34-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 6-inch long jump, 8 reps in the bench press, ran position workout -- but pulled a hamstring about three-quarters of the way through.

Houston (March 14)

There were 27 NFL teams on hand to see 13 players work out indoors on Astroturf.

» WR Anthony Alridge (5-9 1/8, 177): Ran the 40 in 4.39 and 4.38, had a 34 1/2-inch vertical jump, 11-foot, 1-inch long jump, ran position drills and kept everything else from the combine.

Houston (March 31)

» WR Donnie Avery (5-11 1/8, 182): Missed Houston's formal pro day while nursing a right hamstring injury. In this private workout, he ran the 40 in 4.35 and 4.34, had a 37 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 6-inch long jump, 3.91 short shuttle, 6.30 cone drill, ran position drills. Former Texas Tech QB B.J. Symons threw the ball to Avery.

Idaho (March 4)

Eleven players from the '07 team and three others from the 2006 team worked out in front of representatives from 12 NFL teams, including LB coach Mike Cox of the Rams, who was there to see LB David Vobora. Due to bad weather conditions outside, the prospects worked out inside, on a hard surface that was not good for workouts ...

» LB David Vobora (6-1 ¼, 234): Ran the 40 in 4.60 and 4.62, with a 35½-inch vertical jump. Vobora let most of his numbers from the combine stand, as he had a very good workout in Indianapolis.

» CB Stanley Franks (5-8¾, 177): Ran the 40 in 4.39 and 4.43, had a 38-inch vertical jump, 10-foot long jump, 4.60 short shuttle, 7.68 cone drill and 10 reps in the bench press.

» LB Brandon Ogletree (6-2 3/8, 227): Ran the 40 in 4.46 and 4.48, had a 32½-inch vertical jump, and 9-foot, 8-inch long jump, 4.76 short shuttle, 7.71 cone drill and 27 reps in the bench press.

Illinois (March 13)

Illinois head coach Ron Zook did a very good job helping out the reps from 12 NFL teams, including Cincinnati offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski and running backs coach Jim Anderson, plus running backs coaches from Detroit and St. Louis. Ten Illini players worked out indoors in Field Turf, along with six other prospects from small schools in the area (two of whom are noted below).

» RB Rashard Mendenhall (5-10 1/8, 225): Had a good position workout, but kept all his numbers from the combine (Note: he did not run the short shuttle or cone drill at the combine).

» LB Jeremy Leman (6-1 ¾, 245): Had his ankle scoped, so he did not work out at combine or here at the pro day. Has yet to set a date for a private workout.

» WR Jacob Willis (5-9 7/8, 182): Ran the 40 in 4.52 and 4.46, had a 34-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 7-inch long jump, 4.22 short shuttle, 6.95 cone drill, ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» WR Micah Rucker (6-5 ½, 217): From Eastern Illinois … Ran the 40 in 4.57 and 4.47, had a 39-inch vertical jump, 11-foot, 3-inch long jump, 4.57 short shuttle, 6.90 cone drill, 20 reps in the bench press and ran position drills.

» TE/HB Bryan Bergman (6-2 1/8, 243): From Carthage College … Ran the 40 in 4.68 and 4.69, had a 32 ½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 10-inch long jump, 4.27 short shuttle, 7.08 cone drill, 19 reps in the bench press and ran position drills.

Indiana (March 5)

Twelve Hoosiers worked out, plus one player from Indiana State. They ran and did drills indoors on Field Turf ...

» WR James Hardy: Weighed in at 214. He had a 37-inch vertical jump and ran position drills, stood with everything else he recorded at the combine.

» CB Tracy Porter (5-10¾, 187): Ran the 40 in 4.47 and 4.41, ran position drills and stood on the rest of his numbers from the combine.

» CB Leslie Majors (5-9½, 168): Ran the 40 in 4.53 and 4.55, had a 33-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 1-inch long jump, 4.37 short shuttle, 7.11 cone drill and had 11 reps in the bench press.

Iowa (March 24)

Twenty five teams were on hand to watch nine players work out indoors on field turf. Teams love coming here because of the great treatment by the head coaching staff.

» DB Charles Godfrey (5-11 7/8, 205): Ran the 40 in 4.38 and 4.40, had a 37½-inch vertical jump, ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» LB Mike Humpal (6-2½, 244): Ran the 40 in 4.73 and 4.68, had a 38-inch vertical jump, 20 reps in the bench press, 10-foot, 2-inch long jump, 4.19 short shuttle, 7.00 cone drill, ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» DL Kenny Iwebema (6-3 7/8, 269): Ran the 40 in 4.77 and 4.82, had a 35½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 8-inch long jump, 4.67 short shuttle, 7.53 cone drill and did position drills. He kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» DL Bryan Mattison (6-2½, 287): Ran the 40 in 5.03 and 5.00, had a 31½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 5-inch long jump, 4.57 short shuttle, 7.33 cone drills, 24 reps in the bench press and ran position drills.

Iowa State (March 25)

There were 28 representatives from 20 NFL clubs on hand to see nine ISU players, plus five prospects from smaller area schools. Prospects worked out indoors on Field Turf, at a location that has become popular with the NFL personnel because the ISU staff is very helpful…

» WR Todd Blythe (6-5 ½, 210): Ran the 40 in 4.58 and 4.60, had a 32 ½-inch vertical jump, 13 reps in the bench press, ran position workout and kept everything else from the combine.

» LB Alvin Bowen (6-1 ¼, 225): Ran the 40 in 4.70 and 4.78, had a 35-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 9-inch long jump, 4.40 short shuttle, 7.10 cone drill, ran position workout, kept everything else from the combine.

» DL Ahtyba Rubin (6-2 5/8, 313): Ran position workout only and kept all his numbers from the combine.

» QB Bret Meyer (6-3 1/8, 212): Ran the 40 in 4.66 and 4.65, had a 33-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 2-inch long jump, 4.30 short shuttle, 7.21 cone drill, 15 reps in the bench press, ran position workout.

Jackson State (March 24

Twelve teams were present to see 18 players work out on an outdoor, rubber track.

» WR Jaymar Johnson (5-11 5/8, 177): Ran the 40 in 4.53 and 4.52, had a 35-inch vertical jump, ran position drills and kept everything eels from the combine.

Kansas (March 11)

Among the 75 NFL people from all 32 teams in attendance were Chiefs president Carl Peterson. Ravens DB coach Chuck Pagano was there to get a closer look at CB Aqib Talib, and nine OL coaches were there to see Anthony Collins. Prospects ran indoors on Astroturf.

» CB Aqib Talib (6-0 7/8, 197): After running the 40 in 4.46 and 4.53 in Indy, his 40 times for this workout were 4.42 and 4.44. He ran position drills, but kept all his other numbers from the combine.

» OL Anthony Collins (6-5 1/8, 310): Ran the 40 in 5.35 and 5.37, did 26 reps in the bench press, ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» TE Derek Fine (6-2 7/8, 251): Ran the 40 in 4.89 and 4.88, had a 33-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 7-inch long jump, ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» WR Marcus Henry (6-3 7/8, 207): Had a 38-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 6-inch long jump, 4.33 short shuttle, 7.05 cone drill, ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» RB Brandon McAnderson (5-10 1/8, 240): Ran the 40 in 4.91 and 4.92, had a 29-inch vertical jump, 8-foot, 11-inch long jump, 4.34 short shuttle, 7.32 cone drills, 21 reps in the bench press, ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

Kent State (March 6)

Three Kent players plus two from Youngstown State worked out, indoors on Astroturf…

» DL Colin Ferrell (6-0 5/8, 293): Ran the 40 in 4.86 and 4.96, had a 35-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 1-inch long jump, 4.54 short shuttle, 7.16 cone drill, 23 reps at the bench press and ran position drills.

» CB Jack Williams (5-9, 177): Note- lost nine pounds since the combine… Ran the 40 in 4.33 and 4.32, had a 41-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 5-inch long jump, 4.13 short shuttle, 6.64 cone drill, and ran position drills. He didn't do the bench press but had 18 reps at the combine.

» DB Dorian Chenault (6-0 1/8, 191): Chenault really helped himself with a good workout… Ran the 40 in 4.52 and 4.44, had a 37-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 10-inch long jump, 4.18 short shuttle, 6.81 cone drill, 11 reps at the bench press and ran position drills.

Kentucky (March 5)

Among the NFL personnel in attendance were QB coaches Chris Palmer (Giants) and Ken Anderson (Steelers). Prospects ran indoors on a fast Astroturf track ...

» WR Steve Johnson: Weighed in at 203. Ran the 40 in 4.53 and 4.51, ran position drills, and stood with everything else he recorded at the combine.

» QB Andre Woodson: Weighed in at 227. Ran the 40 in 4.86 and 4.88, had a 27½-inch vertical jump (disappointing), 9-foot, 1-inch long jump, 4.33 short shuttle, and 7.28 cone drill.

Liberty (March 11)

Nine NFL teams sent representatives to see 11 players working out indoors on a rubber track. The main attraction was pass-rushing linebacker Vincent Redd, a player who transferred to Liberty after initially attending Virginia and being dropped from the team for violating team rules …

" DE/LB Vincent Redd (6-5 7/8, 262: Ran the 40 in 4.54 and 4.63, had a 39 ½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 10-inch long jump, 7.30 cone drill, had 13 reps in the bench press, ran position drills.

" LB Stevie Ray Lloyd (5-11 3/8, 245): Ran the 40 in 4.66 and 4.71, had a 37-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 1-inch long jump, 7.25 cone drill, 28 reps in the bench press and ran position drills.

" OL Eddie Pinigis (6-6 1/8, 302): Ran the 40 in 5.20 and 5.19, had a 30-inch vertical jump, 8-foot, 2-inch long jump, 7.58 cone drill, 25 reps in the bench press, but did not run position drills.

Louisiana State (March 26)

All 32 teams were on hand, with more than 100 NFL people in total. Among them were head coaches Herman Edwards and Mike Tomlin, plus front office execs Carl Peterson, Jerry Reese, Mickey Loomis, Billy Devaney, and Tony Softli. Prospects ran indoors on Field Turf.

» DL Glenn Dorsey (6-1 ¾, 297): Ran the 40 in 5.13 and 5.12, had a 25 ½-inch vertical jump, 8-foot, 4-inch long jump, 4.80 short shuttle, 7.52 cone drill, and ran position drills. Scouts like his long arms, which measured 35 ¼ inches. Former NFL player Tim Krumrie ran the workout and he has a reputation of running lineman pretty hard… but he couldn't break Dorsey, who looked very good.

» WR Early Doucet (6-0, 203): Ran the 40 in 4.59, 4.64 and 4.69, had a 34 ½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 6-inch long jump, 4.45 short shuttle, 7.40 cone drill, ran position drills and kept everything else from the combine. Had a very good workout.

» LB Arlington Highsmith (6-0, 221): Ran the 40 in 4.87, 4.72 and 4.70, had a 29-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 4-inch long jump, 7.34 cone drill, 23 reps in the bench press, ran position drills and kept everything else from the combine.

» QB Matt Flynn (6-2, 229): Kept all numbers from the combine, ran position drills and looked very good throwing the ball.

» RB Jacob Hester (5-11 1/8, 225): Had a 29-inch vertical jump, ran position drills and kept everything else from the combine. Caught the ball well in workouts.

» DB Jonathan Zenon (5-11 ¾,, 185): Ran the 40 in 4.62 and 4.54, had a 37-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 6-inch long jump, 4.36 short shuttle, 6.85 cone drill, ran position drills and kept everything else from the combine (but he did not do the bench press in Indianapolis due to an injury.)

» S Craig Steltz (6-1 3/8, 210): Ran the 40 in 4.60 and 4.65, had a 35-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 10-inch long jump, 4.19 short shuttle, 7.03 cone drill, had 10 reps in the bench press and could have done more but he injured his right shoulder. He did not work out at the combine, so there are no other numbers for him.

» CB Chevis Jackson (6-0 1/8, 192): Ran the 40 in 4.57 and 4.58, had a 40-inch vertical jump, 10-foot long jump, ran position drills and kept everything else from the combine.

Louisville (March 24)

There were 24 teams on hand to see QB Brian Brohm and 11 other players work out. Panthers QB coach Geep Chryst was among those on hand to see Brohm -- whose brother, Louisville coach Jeff Brohm, ran the passing workouts. The Ravens, who were represented by Hue Jackson, will also have a private workout scheduled for Brohm. The workouts were moved indoors, on Field Turf, due to cold weather.

» QB Brian Brohm (6-3 3/8, 232): Ran the 40 in 4.69 and 4.70, had a 4.41 short shuttle, ran position drills and kept everything else from the combine. Looked good in passing workouts -- threw 75 passes, lining up in 5-receivers sets as well as two-TE sets.

» TE Gary Barnidge (6-5 5/8, 247): Ran position drills only, kept all his numbers from the combine.

» OL Breno Giacomini (6-7 ¼, 302): Had a 26 ½-inch vertical jump, ran position drills and kept all other numbers from the combine.

» WR Harry Douglas (5-11 ½,, 177): Ran the 40 in 4.55 and 4.51, had a 35 ½-inch vertical jump, 4.12 short shuttle, 6.86 cone drill, 11 reps in the bench press, ran position drills and kept other numbers from the combine.

» WR Mario Urrutia (6-5 ¼, 229): Ran the 40 in 4.58 and 4.53, had a 35-inch vertical jump, ran position drills and kept other numbers from the combine.

» WR Pat Carter (6-2 3/8, 199): Ran the 40 in 4.44 and 4.38, had a 37-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 1-inch long jump, 4.23 short shuttle, 6.80 cone drill, 15 reps in the bench press, ran position drills and kept other numbers from the combine.

Luther College (March 25)

This small-school prospect worked out at the Iowa State pro day, which took place indoors on Field Turf…

» RB Tyler Sherden (6-0 3/8, 209): Ran the 40 in 4.50 and 4.52, had a 30-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 8-inch long jump, 4.53 short shuttle, 6.84 cone drill, 14 reps in the bench press, ran position workout.

Maryland (March 12)

Reps from 14 NFL teams were on hand to see 15 players work out on the Astroturf surface of Cole Field House.

» OL Andrew Crummy (6-4 5/8, 306): Was unable to run, jump or do position drills due to a foot injury. Did 28 reps at the bench press…

» TE Joe Haynes (6-7 ½, 264): Ran the 40 in 4.81 and 4.79, had a 31 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 8-inch long jump, 4.31 short shuttle, 19 reps in the bench press, and ran position drills.

Massachusetts (March 18)

Seven players worked out indoors on Field Turf.

» RB Matt Lawrence (6-0 7/8;, 210): Ran the 40 in 4.56 and 4.52, had a 38-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 6-inch long jump, 4.65 short shuttle, 7.18 cone drill, 20 reps in the bench press and did position drills. Lawrence was also at Boston College's pro day workout.

» TE Brad Listorti (6-3 1/8, 251): Ran the 40 in 4.72 and 4.82, had a 33-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 5-inch long jump, 4.43 short shuttle, 7.18 cone drill, 28 reps in the bench press and did position drills. Listorti was also at Boston College's pro day workout.

McNeese State (March 17)

Seven NFL teams were here to see 10 players work out on an outdoor rubber track. With a 15-mph wind, prospects ran one 40-yard dash with the wind and another against the wind. Note: Giants LB coach Bill Sheridan has been out to see many of the top LB prospects around the country, and he was here to see DE/OLB prospect Bryan Smith.

» CB Marcus Brown (6-1 ¼, 201): Ran the 40 in 4.53 (against the wind) and 4.35 (with wind), had a 43 ½-inch vertical jump, 11-foot, 6-inch long jump, 4.18 short shuttle, 7.09 cone drills, 7 reps in the bench press, and ran position drills.

» DE/OLB Bryan Smith (6-2 7/8, 240): Ran the 40 in 4.78 (against the wind) and 4.54 (with the wind), had a 36 ½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 9-inch long jump, 4.31 short shuttle, 7.20 cone drill. A defensive end in college, he looked good here in LB position drills.

Miami (Fla.) (Feb. 29)

Sixteen players worked out, running outdoors on short grass (faster field) ... There were 40 scouts on hand, including the defensive staffs from Carolina and Jacksonville ...

» DB Kenny Phillips (6-2 ¼, 212): Posted a 34-inch vertical jump and ran position drills. Satisfied with his combine numbers, he didn't take part in those drills here.

» DE Calais Campbell (6-8, 283): Ran the 40-yard dash twice and finished in 5.01 seconds both times. He ran the short shuttle in 4.6 seconds and the cone drill in 7.19. He ran position drills but let his bench press at the combine stand.

» LB Tavares Gooden (6-1 3/8, 232): Ran his first 40 in 4.57 and pulled up on his second with a 4.65 finish. He had a 32½-inch vertical jump, and kept everything else from the combine.

» DB Glenn Sharpe (5-11 5/8, 185): Ran the 40 in 4.69 and 4.49, with a 10-foot, 2-inch long jump. He kept his other drills from the combine.

» WR Darnell Jenkins (5-9 3/8, 187): Ran the 40 in 4.62 and 4.54. He had a 32½-inch vertical jump, ran the short shuttle in 4.33 and the cone drill in 6.90.

» QB Kyle Wright (6-3 3/8, 215): Ran the 40 in 4.87 and 4.84, with a 31-inch vertical jump and an 8-foot, 5-inch long jump. He ran the short shuttle in 4.42 and the cone drill in 6.97.

» WR Lance Leggett (6-3, 189): Ran the 40 in 4.45 and 4.43. He had a 37-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 4-inch long jump, ran the short shuttle in 4.31 and the cone drill in 6.56.

Miami (Ohio) (March 13)

Two players, plus one Miami-Ohio basketball player, worked out outdoors on Field Turf…

» CB Jerrid Gaines (5-10 5/8, 183): Ran the 40 in 4.53 and 4.56, had a 32 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 3-inch long jump, 4.42 short shuttle, 7.01 cone drill, 8 reps in the bench press, and ran position drills.

Michigan (March 14)

There were 31 teams in attendance -- Denver being the only team not present -- including Lions head coach Rod Marinelli and Chargers GM A.J. Smith. Ten prospects took part, including OT Jake Long, WR Mario Manningham and QB Chad Henne.

» WR Mario Manningham (5-11 3/8, 183): Ran a 4.44 and a 4.38 in the 40, had a 35-inch vertical jump, ran a 4.38 short shuttle and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» OT Jake Long (6-7, 315): Kept his numbers from the combine and only ran position drills, but had a great workout.

» RB Mike Hart (5-9, 209): Had a 32-inch vertical jump, ran a 4.33 short shuttle, a 6.91 cone drill and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else. He had a good workout and caught the ball well.

» QB Chad Henne (6-2 7/8, 228): Only ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» DE Shawn Crable (6-4 3/4, 244): Ran position drills both as a defensive end and a linebacker and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» WR Adrian Arrington (6-3, 202): Ran a 4.55 and a 4.58 in the 40, had a 36-inch vertical jump and ran position drills. He did not run at the combine.

» DB Jamar Adams (6-2 1/8, 211): Ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

» OL Adam Kraus (6-5 ½, 292): Ran a 5.35 and a 5.40 in the 40, a 4.79 short shuttle, a 7.65 cone drill, had a 26 ½-inch vertical jump, an 8'2" long jump and ran position drills.

Michigan State (March 12)

Twenty-six NFL clubs were represented. Among the group were Panthers wide receiver coach Richard Williamson and Bengals tight ends coach Jay Hayes. Fourteen prospects worked out indoors on Field Turf. It was a great workout, well-run and Michigan State head coach Mark Dantoni was very helpful. One player, Grand Valley State's Brandon Carr, worked out again.

» WR Devin Thomas (6-2, 210): Had a 33-inch vertical jump, 16 reps in the bench press. He had a good workout and kept all his other numbers from the combine.

» TE Kellen Davis (6-6, 256): Had a 34-inch vertical jump, ran position drills and kept all his other numbers from the combine.

» RB Jehuu Caulcrick (6-0, 253): Had a 37-inch vertical jump, 4.45 short shuttle, 7.28 cone drill, ran position drills and kept all his other numbers from the combine.

» DB Nehemiah Warrick (6-1 1/8, 208): Had a 32-inch vertical jump, 10-foot long jump, ran position drills and kept all his other numbers from the combine.

» DE Antonio Smith (6-7, 260): Ran the 40 in 5.19 and 5.14, had a 32½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 7-inch long jump, 18 reps in the bench press. Smith played his last year of basketball for Spartans coach Tom Izzo in 1999. He is 32. He is the brother of current Cleveland Browns defensive end Robaire Smith.

Minnesota (March 4)

Fourteen NFL scouts were on hand to see nine Gophers plus 15 other prospects from other area schools. Prospects worked out indoors on Field Turf. The pro day was very well run, and head coach Tim Brewster was very helpful. The two prospects listed here are potential second-generation players -- sons of former NFL players.

" S Dominique Barber (6-1 ½,, 207): Ran the 40 in 4.56 and 4.60, had a 36-inch vertical jump, ran position drills and kept everything else from the combine.

" WR Ernest Wheelwright (6-4 3/8, 217): Ran the 40 in 4.58 and 4.50, had a 36-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 2-inch long jump, 4.22 short shuttle, 7.12 cone drill, had 11 reps in the bench press, ran position drills and kept his numbers from the combine for everything else.

Mississippi (March 19)

Eight NFL teams were present to see 12 players working out on an indoor track.

Missouri (March 6)

Fourteen teams were on hand to see 17 players work out indoors on Field Turf. The scouts love coming to Missouri because the coaches are very helpful and they are fed after the workout…

» WR Will Franklin (6-0 3/8, 209): Had a 40 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 11-inch long jump, 4.28 short shuttle, 7.16 cone drill, ran position workout, kept everything else from the combine.

» CB Darnell Terrell (6-2, 201): Had a 34 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 4-inch long jump, 4.39 short shuttle, 7.09 cone drill, ran position workout, kept everything else from the combine.

» DL Lorenzo Williams (6-0 ¾, 304): Ran the 40 in 5.06 and 5.05, had a 30 ½-inch vertical jump, 8-foot, 9-inch long jump, 4.90 short shuttle, 7.67 cone drill, 29 reps in the bench press, ran position workout.

» TE Martin Rucker (6-4 7/8, 249): This workout was held on March 20, as Rucker was a no-show at the March 6 pro day… Ran the 40 in 4.71 and 4.78, had a 37-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 2-inch long jump, 4.50 short shuttle, 7.07 cone drill, ran position workout and kept everything else from the combine.

Missouri Southern (March 26)

The workout took place at LSU's Pro Day.

» RB Alley Broussard (6-0, 235): Ran the 40 in 4.75 and 4.75, had a 28 ½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 1-inch long jump, 4.62 short shuttle, 7.15 cone drill, 21 reps in the bench press and did position drills.

Montana (March 19)

Eight teams were present to watch players workout on Field Turf outdoors in 36-degree weather

» DE Kroy Bierman (6-3 1/8, 216): Ran the 40 in 4.75 and 4.78, had a 35-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 9-inch long jump, 4.30 short shuttle, 6.83 cone drill. He did not run position drills and kept the rest of his numbers from the combine.

» RB Lex Hillard (5-11 1/4, 234): Ran the 40 in 4.66 and 4.78, had a 36 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 3-inch long jump, 4.03 short shuttle, 6.93 cone drill. He did not run position drills and kept the rest of his numbers from the combine.

Morgan State (March 13)

» RB & KR Chad Simpson (5-9 3/8, 213): Had a 35 1/2 vertical jump, 10-foot long jump, 4.48 short shuttle, 7.35 cone, did a position workout and kept combine times on every thing else.

» LB Bryan Wilson (6-1 1/2, 249): Ran 4.52 and 4.56 40s, 35-inch vertical jump, 10-foot-3 long jump, 4.67 short shuttle, 7.54 cone and a position workout.

Mount Union (March 20)

Four NFL teams were present to see three players working out, plus four from area schools, indoors on AstroTurf.

» WR Pierre Garcon (5-11 7/8, 207): Ran position drills and kept all his numbers from the combine. He had very good numbers at the combine, including a 4.42 and 4.45 40 and 20 reps in the bench press. In 2007, he had 67 catches and 14 touchdowns for Mount Union.
