Fred Jackson returned to the Buffalo Bills' lineup last week, just 21 days after suffering a groin injury.

The running back's status for *Thursday Night Football*, exclusively on NFL Network, has taken a turn for the worse.

Jackson is officially inactive for the Bills' game against the Miami Dolphins.

He had just three carries for 10 yards in his return last week, and the quick turnaround this week did him no favors.

Jackson's injury was originally estimated to keep him out four weeks. He missed one game (and the bye), and can now add the Week 11 matchup to the list.

Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon will once again carry the load for the Bills in a huge matchup with the Dolphins that could push one team out of the playoff picture.
