The New Orleans Saints "bounty" story took another sharp turn on Thursday when linebacker Jonathan Vilma sued NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in federal court, claiming the league's top executive made false statements that tarnished Vilma's reputation and hindered his ability to earn a living. Meanwhile, the Saints and quarterback Drew Brees seemed further apart than ever, with Brees criticizing the team's handling of the dispute and admitting he's frustrated.
