- RB James Conner (foot) will undergo season-ending surgery, head coach Jonathan Gannon announced Monday. Conner was injured Sunday and the public announcement system initially said he injured his ankle.
- WR Zay Jones is in concussion protocol after he was injured on the final offensive play Sunday, head coach Jonathan Gannon said Monday.

- S Jimmie Ward was removed from the Commissioner's Exempt List on Monday, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported. Ward was placed on the list Aug. 26 following two arrests stemming from allegations of assaulting and threatening a woman. The Texans placed Ward on the physically unable to perform list, per Pelissero.

- WR Alec Pierce is in the concussion protocol, head coach Shane Steichen announced.
- CB Kenny Moore is expected to miss a couple of weeks after suffering a calf injury in Sunday's win over Tennessee, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Rapoport adds that it's not considered a major injury. Steichen confirmed the injury Monday but didn't have a recovery timeframe.

- QB J.J. McCarthy is out of the walking boot, coach Kevin Connell told reporters. McCarthy suffered a high ankle sprain and did not play in Week 3. "At this point in a very young career, his mobility is one of his weapons," O'Connell said. "So we want to make sure he's healthy." Carson Wentz is slated to start in Week 4.
- LT Justin Skule, who was inactive in Week 3 due to a concussion, is optimistic for a return in this Sunday's matchup against the Steelers in Dublin, O'Connell told reporters.
- LG Donovan Jackson underwent wrist surgery on Monday morning but won't be placed on injured reserve, O'Connell announced. Jackson suffered the injury in Week 2 but played through the injury during Sunday's win over the Bengals, per O'Connell.
- C Ryan Kelly (concussion) is optimistic to play in Week 4 after not playing on Sunday, per O'Connell.
