Cowboys first-round rookie guard Tyler Booker (ankle) to miss four to six weeks

With injuries mounting, the Dallas Cowboys offense will look vastly different in Week 4 and beyond.

2025 first-round pick Tyler Booker is expected to miss four to six weeks with a high ankle sprain, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Monday.

Booker, Dallas' starting right guard, joins center Cooper Beebe in the injury ranks along the offensive line. Beebe is currently on injured reserve, also due to an ankle injury. Likewise hobbled by an ankle ailment is star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Lamb is expected to miss multiple weeks also.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told reporters placing Booker and Lamb on injured reserve is a consideration.

Dallas has struggled mightily defensively with a unit that's 30th in yards allowed, but the offense ranks third after three weeks in yards gained. It will be an arduous task for the Cowboys to maintain that production with Lamb and Booker, the '25 draft's 12th overall pick, on the mend.

Making it all the more difficult in Week 4 will be a ballyhooed matchup against former Cowboys All-Pro Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers.

Likely getting the start in place of Booker against the Pack will be TJ Bass or rookie Trevor Keegan.
