Lions-Cowboys game holds a number of fantasy sleepers

Looking for a sleeper to fill out your starting lineup? These 10 under-the-radar players could be on the verge of solid stat lines based on the matchups. For more lineup help, check out Start 'Em & Sit 'Em and our player rankings.

Shaun Hill, QB, Lions

The Cowboys did pull out a shocking road win against the Giants last week, but the fact remains that their defense, most notably against the pass, has been vulnerable. In fact, only the Texans have allowed more touchdown passes to opposing field generals. Enter Hill, who has sleeper value based on the matchup in what could be a shootout.

Mark Sanchez, QB, Jets

Sanchez has had an up-and-down season for fantasy owners, but he's been extremely hot in recent weeks. In fact, the Southern California product has averaged close to 23 fantasy points on NFL.com in his last two games. The Texans have allowed more fantasy points to quarterbacks than any team, so Sanchez should find continued statistical success.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis, RB, Patriots

Green-Ellis isn't going to put up huge numbers, but he does have a nose for the end zone with six touchdowns on the season. He can also exploit a favorable matchup, which is exactly what he has this week against the Colts. Their defense has allowed an average of 18 fantasy points per game to opposing running back, so the Law Firm is worth a flex start.

Felix Jones, RB, Cowboys

Jones is coming off one of his best games of the season, posting 136 scrimmage yards and a touchdown in a win over the Giants. Now he'll go up against the Lions, who have surrendered the most fantasy points to running backs. Look for the Arkansas product to make some noise in this contest. He's a tremendous flex starter in all fantasy leagues.

Mike Tolbert, RB, Chargers

If Ryan Mathews is out this week due to an injured ankle, fantasy owners should strongly consider Tolbert a viable No. 2 back or flex starter based on a Monday night matchup against the Broncos. Their defense has been absolutely terrible against the run, allowing an average of 22 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs in 2010.

Nate Burleson, WR, Lions

Burleson has recorded a combined 24 receptions in his last four games, so he's clearly a major part of what can be a productive Lions pass attack. As a result, owners should consider him an attractive No. 3 fantasy wideout against the Cowboys -- their questionable defense has allowed the third-most points to wide receivers after 10 weeks.

Mohamed Massaquoi, WR, Browns

If you're in need of a very deep sleeper in a larger league at the wide receiver position, consider Massaquoi off the waiver wire. He has a tremendous matchup this week against the Jaguars -- their defense has allowed more fantasy points to wide receivers than any other team in the league. It's a roll of the dice, but the matchup is very solid.

Nate Washington, WR, Titans

Washington has scored a touchdown in two straight games, and the addition of veteran wideout Randy Moss should help his overall value down the stretch. This week he's a nice sleeper pick against the Redskins, who have allowed 1,864 receiving yards and 13 touchdown catches to wideouts. Consider Washington a viable No. 3 option.

Kevin Boss, TE, Giants

With Steve Smith out of action for another week, Boss should gain more targets in the Giants pass attack. That was the case last week, as he posted an impressive 81 yards and one touchdown against the Cowboys. This week Boss faces an Eagles defense that struggles to defend tight ends, so he's well worth starting in larger leagues.

Jermaine Gresham, TE, Bengals

Gresham is coming off a huge performance against the Colts, posting nine catches for 85 yards with one touchdown. This week he faces the Bills, who have surrendered the second-most fantasy points to tight ends this season. That makes the rookie well worth a look off waivers, as he's still a free agent in a lot of leagues.
