Jets getting trade calls for DT Quinnen Williams, RB Breece Hall; Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers drawing interest

One more week of football remains before the NFL trade deadline, and perhaps unsurprisingly, the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders have been fielding calls.

New York Jets three-time Pro Bowler Quinnen Williams and his teammate, running back Breece Hall, have garnered plenty of interest, as has Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday.

Williams is likely to be the most intriguing with the Nov. 4 deadline approaching as Meyers and Hall’s names have been bandied about since before the season even kicked off.

It would take a huge offer for the Jets to consider parting ways with Williams, however, Rapoport reported.

As for Hall, Rapoport said it remains unclear if New York is ready to move him.

Meyers, who requested a trade prior to the season, has proceeded with a business-as-usual mentality. Rapoport noted that the Raiders signing veteran receiver Tyler Lockett, who is reuniting with head coach Pete Caroll and quarterback Geno Smith, could potentially make it more likely Vegas is willing to move Meyers. That remains to be seen, though.

Williams easily boasts the finest resume of the aforementioned trio.

The 27-year-old has long been a centerpiece of the Jets defense, having gone to three straight Pro Bowls ahead of this season and becoming a first-time All-Pro in 2022. The seven-year pro has started all eight games for the Jets this year, earning a career-high three forced fumbles already. 2026 is the second to last season on Williams’ current four-year, $96 million contract, though it has a potential out heading into the 2027 season.

As for Hall, the 24-year-old is playing on the final deal of his rookie contract after New York selected him in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Currently, he sports 581 rushing yards through eight games. A speedster whose stellar rookie season was cut short by an injury, Hall has struggled for much of his fourth season before turning in a stellar Sunday in which he rushed for two touchdowns and threw another to lead the Jets to their first win of 2025. Prior to the season, head coach Aaron Glenn said he didn’t want to move on from Hall, but things change when you’re 1-7 and the AFC’s No. 15 seed.

Not all that much higher in the AFC pecking order is Las Vegas, which is 2-5 and coming off its bye. Meyers, who’s tallied 29 receptions for 329 yards and missed his team’s last game with multiple injuries, recently noted he was still open to being traded, but has dutifully approached his role with the Raiders. Like Hall, he’s in the final year of his current deal. His desire for an extension going unmet was the foundation of him asking for a trade. With the Raiders firmly in last place in the AFC West and having added a familiar name in Lockett, it would seem rather logical for the team to answer the calls its getting.

The next week will tell if Meyers moves on or either of the Jets' big names.
