Richard Sherman hasn't been a shy individual this season, one reason the Atlanta Falcons weren't sorry to wave goodbye to the Seattle Seahawks cornerback after Sunday's 30-28 divisional playoff victory.

FoxSports.com's Alex Marvez reported that Falcons cornerback Asante Samuel pranced through Atlanta's locker room after the win shouting that Sherman and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll could "eat some humble pie."
Sherman infamously went after New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady this season and nearly came to blows with Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams a week ago.
Sherman isn't everyone's cup of tea, but you'd think Samuel might keep quiet considering the torching Atlanta's defense endured at the hands of Seattle rookie quarterback Russell Wilson. The Falcons gave up 385 yards through the air, including 241 in a second half during which the Seahawks turned a 27-7 deficit into a 28-27 lead.
Sherman won his battles early, swatting down two passes in the first half, but the Falcons and quarterback Matt Ryan deserve credit for repeatedly targeting Sherman. They didn't avoid him, and that eventually paid off on Ryan's 47-yard touchdown strike to Roddy White in the second quarter. Even on that scoring play, however, a safety breakdown was partially responsible. Take away the touchdown, and Sherman helped hold White to four catches for just 29 yards.
Samuel, of course, can talk all he wants. Sherman did that all season. Doesn't mean anyone will listen.
