Representatives from four NFL teams were present at Arkansas State's pro day on Tuesday, when four prospects and another player from a previous year worked out outdoors on FieldTurf in cold and windy conditions.
One possible free-agent pickup following the events of the 2015 NFL Draft is safety Sterling Young. Young (6-foot-1 3/8, 195 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.70 and 4.64 seconds. He had a 31 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-7 broad jump. He had a 20-yard short shuttle time of 4.48 seconds and a three-cone time of 7.50 seconds. Young didn't do the bench press because of a bad thumb on his right hand.
