Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 2 Sunday:
- Arizona Cardinals CB Max Melton (knee) and DL L.J. Collier (knee) did not return against Carolina. Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said cornerback Garrett Williams injured his knee and CB Will Johnson suffered a groin injury.
- Atlanta Falcons CB A.J. Terrell (hamstring) was ruled out against Minnesota.
- Baltimore Ravens LB Kyle Van Noy (hamstring) did not return against Cleveland.
- Carolina Panthers OL Rob Hunt (biceps) and center Austin Corbett (knee) did not return against Arizona.
- Chicago Bears CB Jaylon Johnson (groin) was ruled out against Detroit. LB T.J. Edwards left with a hamstring injury.
- Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow is feared to have suffered a Grade 3 turf toe injury that would require surgery and sideline him at least three months, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Sunday. Rookie defensive end Shemar Stewart (ankle) was ruled out.
- Cleveland Browns WR DeAndre Carter was evaluated for a concussion and ruled out against Baltimore.
- Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced after their win over the Giants that the team has signed veteran pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney. It's a one-year deal worth $3.5 million, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
- Detroit Lions TE Shane Zylstra (ankle) was ruled out against Chicago. DE Marcus Davenport exited with an injury and head coach Dan Campbell said after the game the team will know more about Davenport's status on Monday.
- Kansas City Chiefs CB Kristian Fulton (ankle) and DE Mike Danna (hip) were ruled out return against Philadelphia.
- Los Angeles Rams CB Ahkello Witherspoon (shoulder) was ruled out against Tennessee.
- Minnesota Vikings OL Ryan Kelly and OT Justin Skule were ruled out due to concussions against Atlanta. RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) did not return and will be evaluated as the severity of his injury isn't known, head coach Kevin O'Connell said. LB Gabriel Murphy (knee) was ruled out.
- New York Giants LB Darius Muasau (concussion) was ruled out against Dallas.
- New York Jets QB Justin Fields was evaluated for a concussion after suffering a hard hit in the second half against Buffalo. CB Tony Adams (groin) was ruled out, and Jermaine Johnson II (ankle) did not return. CB Michael Carter II (shoulder) did not to return.
- Pittsburgh Steelers LB Alex Highsmith (ankle) was ruled out against Seattle. Head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters that Highsmith suffered a high ankle sprain. DT Isaiahh Loudermilk (ankle) was also ruled out.
- San Francisco 49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk (concussion) was ruled out against New Orleans. OL Ben Bartch (ankle) did not return.
