The Washington Redskins signed free-agent linebacker Chris Wilson, the team said on Tuesday.

Wilson played four seasons for the Redskins from 2007 to 2010 after two seasons with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011 and was cut before the start of the season.

Wilson, 29, has recorded 65 tackles and six sacks in 64 NFL games.

He played college football at Northwood University in Michigan.
