Vikings re-sign restricted free-agent FB Tahi on tender

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday that they have re-signed restricted free-agent fullback Naufahu Tahi.

Tahi, a fifth-year veteran, has been primarily a blocker for running back Adrian Peterson and a special-teams player with the Vikings. Tahi caught 10 passes for 67 yards and one touchdown out of the backfield last season.

The Vikings have two restricted free agents -- defensive end Ray Edwards and quarterback Tarvaris Jackson -- who haven't yet signed their contract tenders. The NFL deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets with other teams is Thursday.
