Saints agree to one-year deal with free-agent LB Ingram

NEW ORLEANS -- The Saints have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with free-agent linebacker Clint Ingram.

Saints general manager Mickey Loomis announced the deal Wednesday, but he didn't provide financial terms.

Ingram, a 2006 third-round draft pick by Jacksonville, had played his entire four-year NFL career with the Jaguars, appearing in 56 regular-season games with 46 starts. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound linebacker has 194 tackles with five sacks, two interceptions and one fumble recovery.

Ingram appeared in two playoff games following the 2007 regular season, making 14 tackles with one pass defensed.

Ingram appeared in 13 games last season for Jacksonville and finished seventh on the team with 52 tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery.
