T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) questionable vs. Cowboys

The Indianapolis Colts took to the practice field on Friday minus their top receiver.

T.Y. Hiltonmissed his third straight practice with the hamstring injury he sustained in Sunday's win over the Houston Texans, per ESPN.com's Mike Wells. He was later listed as questionable for Sunday'scritical matchup with the Cowboys

Longtime Colts beat writer Mike Chappell of RTV6 remains "convinced" that Hilton and offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus -- nursing a groin injury -- won't go against Dallas. Reggie Wayne also missed Friday's session, but Chappell views that as more of a rest day with the wideout battling through a torn triceps injury.

"My health is the main thing," Hilton told Chappell, noting that he plans to meet with coach Chuck Pagano about his status. "If our conversation goes well and he wants me to play, then I'll play. If not, I'll sit out"

Losing Hilton against the Cowboys would alter the landscape for a Colts offense that has leaned heavily on the playmaking wideout through the air. Hilton willed the team to victory over the Browns two weeks ago and has piled up an outrageous 1,345 yards off 82 grabs in his third NFL season.

With the aging Wayne struggling mightily, the Colts will be forced to lean on Donte Moncrief and Hakeem Nicks and tight ends Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener through the air if the game-changing Hilton can't suit up.
