Xavier Su'a-Filo picked by Houston Texans at No. 33

The Houston Texans kicked off the second round by drafting offensive guard Xavier Su'a-Filo from UCLA.

The Texans entered the draft wanting to get stronger in the trenches on both sides of the ball. General manager Rick Smith added Su'a-Filo to the best defensive line player in the draft, Jadeveon Clowney, who they tabbed with the first overall pick.

Su'a-Filo is the Texans' highest drafted guard in team history. The previous high was Brandon Brooks in the third round of 2012.

Smith helps solidify the inside of the Texans' offensive line. The guard has good feet and hands and is solid in both the run and passing game.

Now Houston must figure out what quarterback Su'a-Filo will be blocking for in 2014.
