Southern Cal fell to 0-2 in Pac-12 play with the loss, and the news for the Trojans was already bad given a knee injury to star receiver Marqise Lee. Shortly after the news of Kiffin's firing broke on social media, Southern Cal released a brief statement that did not include comments from director of athletics Pat Hayden.
USC will hold a press conference Sunday afternoon at a time and location to be announced.
