Sharrif Floyd likely will miss the rest of preseason after undergoing a "minor procedure" on his left knee.
"I don't think he'll practice until next week," Frazier said, according to The Star Tribune. "It's nothing major. He shouldn't miss any time, as far as our regular season is concerned. He won't play this week (at San Francisco) and probably not in the Tennessee game (next week)."
Floyd was injured in the second quarter of the Vikings' preseason opener. An MRI revealed no structural damage. Frazier said Monday that the intent of the procedure was to alleviate pain in the front of the defensive tackle's knee.
Floyd will enter the regular season with some rust, but the Vikings will take that over the alternative. The "Around The League Podcast" is now available on iTunes! Click here to listen and subscribe.
