Asked about the state of Rex Ryan's New York Jets on Tuesday, Hall of Fame tight end Mike Ditka didn't offer much optimism.

"What happened up there in New York last year was a joke," Ditka told SiriusXM NFL Radio. "But then again, so is their team."

Ouch.

Jets owner Woody Johnson sees something else entirely. On Tuesday, he preached to fans, saying, "We're doing the best thing for your team," before describing a mystical "buzz" that currently surrounds the franchise.

Ditka, for one, isn't buying it.
