Aaron Rodgers remains on fire for Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers' message to the rest of the NFL last week still applies: Shhhhh.

Any talk about the quarterback's slow start to the season will be long forgotten after another scorching effort Sunday during the Green Bay Packers' 30-20 victory over the St. Louis Rams.

Aaron Rodgers gear.

Rodgers connected on 30 of 37 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns to lift the Packers to 4-3. He has 680 yards and nine touchdowns in the last two weeks. It's not like Rodgers is doing this against lackluster competition: The Rams entered the game in the top five in the NFL in scoring defense. Their secondary is physical and talented, but there is no defense for a perfect throw.

That's what Rodgers delivered on a 39-yard touchdown strike to Randall Cobb in the fourth quarter to put away the game. Rodgers rolled to his left, squared his shoulders and threw right to the end zone with pinpoint control.

Those are the types of throws we're used to seeing from Rodgers. They are the types of throws no one in the NFL does better.

After a sluggish start to the season, they are the types of throws Rodgers is making once again.
