Michael Vick, Eagles QB, launches clothing line 'V7'

Though we're sure not everyone in the American public will be interested, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is launching a sports clothing line called "V7."

The line -- which will be sold exclusively at Modell's sporting goods stores on the East Coast -- includes T-shirts and other technical athletic clothing, according to The Associated Press.

Part of the line's proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia. This is the latest image-restoration effort Vick has attached himself to since his 18-month prison stint for funding a dog fighting ring. Vick spoke about his past transgressions at the NFL's Rookie Symposium last month. He recently married longtime fiance Kijafa Frink.

Vick has become one of the game's most polarizing figures in terms of fan support since he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009. In addition to "V7", Vick has re-signed with Nike -- which dropped him following his 2007 arrest -- while adding other endorsements such as MusclePharm Corp. He has spoken out against animal cruelty as well, though he'll always face an uphill battle on that front.
