A source told the newspaper that the Packers are one of several teams Lawson, 27, is having discussions with. He signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals last August after playing five years with the San Francisco 49ers, who made him the 22nd overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.
Lawson, a six-year veteran, had 52 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 15 starts with the Bengals last season. He has 292 career tackles with 16 sacks and six forced fumbles.
Green Bay is "very interested" in the 30-year-old Tollefson, who will likely meet with the team next week, a different source told the newspaper.
Tollefson was originally selected by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft, but was stuck on the practice squad. He eventually joined the New York Giants for the 2007 season. He has 81 tackles, 10 sacks and three forced fumbles in five years with New York.
