Jaguars reach three-year, $18M extension with WR Thomas

The Jacksonville Jaguars have reached a three-year, $18 million contract extension with wide receiver Mike Thomas, a league source said Thursday.

The deal includes $9 million guaranteed.

Thomas led the Jaguars in receiving in 2010 with 66 catches and 820 yards. The third-year pro burst onto the scene last year when he caught a deflected Hail Mary pass from David Garrard to defeat the Houston Texans.
