Dolphins sign TE Fasano to two-year $7.75 million extension

The Miami Dolphins have signed tight end Anthony Fasano to a two-year, $7.75 million contract extension that includes a $2.1 million signing bonus, according to a league source.

Fasano, who has 25 receptions for 367 yards and three touchdowns this season, is in his fifth pro season, third in Miami. The extension averages $3.875 million per season.

He will get a $1.9 million base salary in 2011, with $1.5 million guaranteed and a $75,000 workout bonus.

In 2012, Fasano is scheduled to make a $3.6 million base salary with another $75,000 workout bonus.
