Seattle takes Utah St RB Robert Turbin

RENTON, Wash. (AP) - The Seattle Seahawks began a busy final day of the NFL draft by selecting Utah State running back Robert Turbin with the first of two fourth-round selections on Saturday.

Turbin was taken with the 106th overall selection. He fits the mold of the big, burly running back the Seahawks lack behind starter Marshawn Lynch. Seattle also signed Kregg Lumpkin in free agency, with a similar build to Turbin.

Turbin missed all of the 2010 season with injury, but bounced back in 2011 by rushing for 1,517 yards and 19 touchdowns in helping the Aggies to a bowl game. He's listed at 5-foot-10, 222 pounds.

Turbin is the second Utah State player drafted by the Seahawks after Seattle took linebacker Bobby Wagner in the second round.
