Seahawks LB Tatupu misses practice, not yet cleared to play

RENTON, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu missed his second consecutive practice as he recovers from a concussion suffered in last weekend's 41-36 wild-card playoff victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Tatupu didn't participate in practice Thursday. He still must be cleared to be able to play in Sunday's NFC Divisional Playoff Game against the Chicago Bears.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said earlier in the week that it was "favorable" that Tatupu would clear the league-mandated concussion testing and be able to play against the Bears. Tatupu suffered the concussion on a hard collision with New Orleans running back Julius Jones late in Seattle's victory.

Tatupu was tied for second on the team with 88 tackles during the regular season.
