Redskins re-sign Brown, place Blaylock on IR

ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins re-signed running back Dee Brown on Thursday and placed running back Derrick Blaylock on injured reserve with a heel injury.

Brown was signed Aug. 7 and was released last week when fullback Fred Beasley was signed. Brown played in the first two preseason games and had one kickoff return for 26 yards.

Blaylock rushed 23 times for 57 yards in preseason.
