Quick Take: McNabb, Jackson lead Eagles

Eagles fullback Tony Hunt scored on a 1-yard touchdown plunge in the third quarter, giving the Eagles a 28-0 lead. Philadelphia's defense had dominated St. Louis for the majority of the afternoon, making a comeback a daunting task.

DeSean Jackson caught a 47-yard reception on the second play from scrimmage, erasing fears about the Eagles' depleted receiving corps. Jackson's catch set the tone, and Donovan McNabb was quickly in rhythm with his wideouts. Jackson finished with six receptions for 106 yards.

Without starters Kevin Curtis or Reggie Brown, McNabb was able to connect with seven different players as he spread the ball around.

Noteworthy
More bad news for the St. Louis offensive line: Orlando Pace was replaced at left tackle by Adam Goldberg. Pace missed most of the 2007 season with an injury. ... The Eagles are now 9-0 when Brian Westbrook has both a rushing and receiving touchdown in the same game. ... Since a 4-1 start under Scott Linehan, the Rams are 7-21 in their last 28 games.
