Keep your eye on ...
Hester catching passes: Slowed by a rib injury recently, Devin Hester looked just fine in making a 20-yard touchdown reception vs. the Eagles -- his first of the season. And it's only a matter of time before he returns one for a touchdown. He recorded 219 return yards in his last game at Detroit.

Kitna's success vs. Chicago: A bye week treated Jon Kitna well, as the Lions quarterback does not appear to be limited by a right knee sprain suffered in Week 3. Detroit will need all it can get out of its signal-caller, who aims for his third straight win as a starter vs. Chicago.

Detroit's rush to judgment: Rookie Kevin Smith has started all three of Detroit's games, but Rudi Johnson ended up getting the bulk of the carries vs. San Francisco in Week 3, finishing with 83 yards on 14 carries. According to reports out of Detroit, coach Rod Marinelli has decided to go with Johnson as the starter.
