Packers safety Collins injures knee against Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins injured his left knee while making a tackle midway through the third quarter Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Collins, in his third season, went down while tackling Chiefs receiver Samie Parker on Kansas City's first drive of the second half. Parker made a move before hitting Collins head on, sending the safety's body twisting back over his left knee.

Collins had to be helped from the field and was taken away on a cart a few minutes later.
