Packers release four undrafted players, including CB Ford

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers released cornerback Trevor Ford, safety Khalil Jones, linebacker Tim Knicky and quarterback Noah Shepard on Friday.

Ford was signed as a non-drafted free agent in May 2009 and appeared in three games for the Packers last season. Jones spent the final two weeks of the 2009 season on the Packers' practice squad. Knicky and Shepard were signed as non-drafted free agents in April.

The Packers' mandatory minicamp begins next week, with Monday and Tuesday morning practice sessions open to fans.
