New England Patriots DB Derrick Martin's house robbed

AURORA, Colo. -- Two masked men robbed the suburban Denver home of New England Patriots defensive back Derrick Martin while he was with his team at the AFC Championship Game.

Aurora police spokesman Frank Fania told The Denver Post that the robbers forced their way into Martin's home Sunday night when there was at least one adult and several children there.

He says they took numerous items, but no one was hurt.

Investigators don't know if Martin was targeted.

Martin attended Denver's Thomas Jefferson High School and played football at the University of Wyoming.
