McKinney, Killings placed on IR

HOUSTON -- The Houston Texans have placed C Steve McKinney (knee) and DT Cedric Killings (neck) on the reserve/injured list. To fill the spots on the roster, Houston has re-signed WR David Anderson and TE Joel Dreessen.

Anderson (5-9, 194) was drafted by the Texans in the seventh round of the 2006 draft. He played in nine games as a rookie, making one catch for 27 yards. He spent the 2007 training camp with the Texans, catching three passes for 34 yards and one touchdown in preseason action.

Dreessen (6-4, 255) made the Texans opening day roster, but was released when Houston re-signed Killings on September 14. Dreessen is in his first year as a Texan after spending the 2005 season with the New York Jets.
