Leading rusher Green-Ellis among three tendered by Pats

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. --- The New England Patriots have tendered contracts to restricted free-agent running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis and safety Jarrad Page.

The Patriots also extended an exclusive-rights tender to cornerback Kyle Arrington on Thursday.

Green-Ellis started 11 games and led the Patriots with 1,008 yards and 13 touchdowns on 229 carries last season.

Page had two interceptions while playing 10 games. He joined New England from the Kansas City Chiefs last offseason.

If another team signs either player to an offer sheet, the Patriots have seven days to match the offer or receive compensation in return for the player signing elsewhere.

Arrington started 14 games and made 49 tackles in his second NFL season.
