Knee injury ends season for Rams FB Miller

ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis Rams fullback Brit Miller will miss the rest of the season with a right knee injury sustained in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Coach Steve Spagnuolo said Miller will require surgery, probably in about a month after swelling subsides.

Defensive end Chris Long was the only other injury concern with a left thigh bruise.

Spagnuolo was hopeful that running back Kenneth Darby and tight end Mike Hoomanawanui could return to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday.

The Rams play host to the 49ers on Sunday.
