Jaguars cut DB Cox, DE Wyche

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jaguars waived defensive back Kennard Cox and defensive end James Wyche on Saturday, leaving the team with two open roster spots.

Cox, a seventh-round draft pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2008, has played in four games this season. He also has spent 10 weeks on the practice squad.

Wyche, a seventh-round draft pick by the Jaguars in 2006, played in two games this season. He spent the past two years on injured reserve, was waived in September, signed to the practice squad in late November and then activated Dec. 3.
