Huntington honoring Patriots' Brown with his own street

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The city where Troy Brown starred at Marshall plans to honor the New England Patriots receiver with his own street.

City Council voted Monday to designate a section of 16th Street Road as Troy Brown Way.

Brown helped Marshall win the 1992 Division I-AA championship and was drafted by the Patriots the following spring. The 15-year veteran lives in Huntington and is active in several community organizations.
