Hamstring injury to sideline Bears LT Williams vs. Packers

Chicago Bears starting left tackle Chris Williams is listed as out for Monday night's home game against the Green Bay Packers, the team announced Saturday.

Williams, a third-year veteran out of Vanderbilt, pulled his right hamstring in the Bears' 27-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 19.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound lineman started all 16 games for the Bears in 2009. Chicago selected Williams with the 14th-overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.

The Bears initially replaced Williams with Kevin Shaffer in that game but quickly moved him to the right side, with Frank Omiyale making the switch to left tackle.

Rookie defensive back Major Wright, also hurt against the Cowboys, is out with a hamstring injury.
