Eagles make Vick their No. 2 QB vs. Raiders, push Kolb to No. 3

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Michael Vick is the Philadelphia Eagles' backup quarterback for the first time this season, with Kevin Kolb in the third quarterback role.

The decision by Eagles coach Andy Reid means if Kolb enters Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders before the fourth quarter, both Vick and starter Donovan McNabb couldn't re-enter. The Eagles had kept three quarterbacks active the previous two games in which Vick played.

Also inactive for the Eagles were receivers Kevin Curtis and Brandon Gibson; offensive linemen Mike McGlynn and Todd Herremans; defensive end Jason Babin; cornerback Dimitri Patterson; and linebacker Joe Mays.

The inactives for the Raiders were receivers Chaz Schilens and Nick Miller; offensive linemen Langston Walker, Cornell Green and Robert Gallery; running backs Darren McFadden and Luke Lawton; and linebacker Ricky Brown.
