Cowboys' Hodge undergoes season-ending knee surgery

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Stephen Hodge underwent microfracture surgery on his right knee Thursday and will be placed on injured reserve, according to *The Dallas Morning News*.

Hodge was eligible to come off the team's physically unable to perform list Tuesday, but the surgery will end his season.

The 6-foot, 238-pound Hodge missed all of last season following a similar surgery on his left knee.

The Cowboys drafted Hodge in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Texas Christian University.
