Cardinals sign two from Giants' practice squad, drop LB Togafau

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals signed fullback Nehemiah Broughton and defensive end Jeremy Clark from the New York Giants' practice squad Tuesday.

The Cardinals also released linebacker Pago Togafau and placed defensive end Jason Banks on injured reserve.

Broughton joins the Cardinals after spending the entire 2009 season on the Giants' practice squad. He was with the Minnesota Vikings during the preseason until being released Sept. 5.

Clark appeared in four games with the Giants in 2008 and made three tackles and a half-sack. Clark spent the past five weeks with the Giants' practice squad. He was waived on Sept. 5 by the team, then re-signed later in the year.
