Brown among six Titans to start training camp on PUP list

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans started training camp Saturday with six players on the physically unable to perform list, including starting defensive tackle Tony Brown and their third-round draft pick.

Brown had surgery during the offseason to fix a problem in his knee and spent the offseason rehabilitating.

Wide receiver Damian Williams hurt a hamstring in the 13th of the team's 14 on-field training sessions, and coach Jeff Fisher had worried about the rookie's condition. The Titans checked out Williams on Saturday morning and found that the third-round pick from USC isn't ready to practice yet.

Linebacker David Thornton, safety Nick Schommer, cornerback Jamar Love and fullback Willie Rose also are on the PUP list.
