Bears lose DBs Tillman, Afalava to shoulder injuries vs. Cardinals

Chicago Bears defensive backs Charles Tillman and Al Afalava left Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals during the second quarter with shoulder injuries.

The Bears said Afalava wouldn't return to the game, and he was replaced in the lineup by Kevin Payne. Tillman's status wasn't available.

Tillman is the Bears' top cornerback, whose assignment Sunday was to cover Cardinals star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, and Afalava is a rookie safety.

The Bears also lost three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Tommie Harris 65 seconds into the game when he was ejected for slugging Cardinals guard Deuce Lutui.
